CHILLI IS FUN FOR US AND WE ENJOY IT WITH YOU

We produce chili seeds on our chili farm in the Beskydy mountains. We have been growing chili peppers for more than 10 years and we even cross our own new varieties.
This way we can offer chili seeds of all the possible colors, shapes and heat to other growers interested in the world of heat.
From our own farm we offer chili seeds of classic world-famous varieties but also seeds of new chili peppers, which you will not find anywhere else.
We seasonally deliver fresh chili peppers to restaurants directly to the hands of chefs and also dried chili peppers from prepared stocks for the whole year.

Gorols are the inhabitants of mountain areas in southern Poland, northern Slovakia and northeastern Czech Republic (Těšín region), ie. the Beskydy Mountains. We speak our own dialect, which is of Polish origin, so even Google will not translate it and Praguer is trapped. However, this does not change the fact that even here in the Beskydy Mountains we grow peppers.
This year we have grown up to 183 varieties of chili peppers with a huge amount of hots and super hots.
Gorol chilli is for everyone who is looking for homemade and BIO chilli products for a gastronomic, medical or just for fun point of view. Homemade Gorol chilli products can also serve as a very suitable gift for any occasion.

We have been actively involved in growing chilli peppers for more than 10 years, during which more than 700 varieties have passed under our hands. Once upon a time, we started with seeds from rounded red and yellow peppers that we brought from Italy. Our interest soon grew into a passion.
Since then, we have grown all the possible varieties from sweet to the hottest in the world.
At the moment, we prefer interesting peppers, especially C. baccatum and wild varieties. We also cross chili peppers.
And a lot of them look really great so far!

Why and what we crossing

Chilli breeding is a process following its crossing, the detailed procedure of which we have summarized in a separate article. For summary, the pollen of the paternal variety is transferred to the vicinity of the maternal variety. Since the peppers have bisexual flowers, we had to adjust them by tearing the sticks of the parent variety. As soon as the pollen grain germinated in the pollen tube, fertilization took place, a zygote was formed and subsequently a fruit was formed, which bears the seeds for the F1 generation (about that in a moment). Subsequent repeated sowing and selection of the required traits, during which the traits are stabilized, is referred to as breeding.
Why cross peppers at all?
There are really a large number of reasons, but we can divide them into two large units - the creation of completely new varieties or the improvement of the characteristics of existing varieties. In the case of creating a new variety, the procedure is relatively easy. All you have to do is cross and then, for several generations in a fully isolated environment, select the phenotype we like. The variety is stable after about 6-10 generations depending on the stability and diversity of the parent varieties. Improving the characteristics of existing varieties is a difficult matter. We want to preserve the variety, just change some of its characteristics. It may want to increase the yield, change the value of the palm, create a variety resistant to a particular pathogen, improve taste characteristics or focus on ......
